When you send a data request to a person, they have the option to create their own personal vault once the request is complete. This vault is under their own control and any data is only shared if the user wishes to share it.

We now allow these vault users to verify their IBAN number via Open Banking if they choose to. This gives you, the dashboard user, a greater insight into the genuine identity of your applicants, employees or clients.

Users who choose to set up a vault can also add their IBAN number on the webapp vault and then click verify to complete this process.

Our system will then check that the IBAN number is correct and confirm the name of the account holder.

On the dashboard you can now see any applicants who have completed this process. If you hover your cursor over the verified symbol, you can see that the IBAN number is verified and the name of the account holder associated with the IBAN number.

For some banks, additional information such as address may also be provided.

Some users may not have the option to show as verified if they did not enter their IBAN number before or if their bank is still not using the open banking system.
